The Chamber Celebrates WIU - Quad Cities Ground Breaking
The Illinois Quad City Chamber joins with the Quad Cities community in celebrating Western Illinois University - Quad Cities' riverfront campus ground breaking.  

Governor Pat Quinn helped mark the progress of the new campus at a ceremony on March 31st.  Funding to begin construction was announced in December 2009 and the timeline continues to move forward as scheduled.  The first phase is expected to open in the spring of 2012.
